Naftalan suppository (candle) for hemorrhoids

Description

Composition (per 1 suppository – 2.0 g):

• Naftalan oil
• Sea buckthorn oil
• Pumpkin seed oil
• Vitamin E (tocopherol)
• Vegetable oil-based fatty base

Action:

The complex of active components provides the following effects:

• Strong anti-inflammatory effect
• Analgesic and anti-edema effect
• Improves microcirculation in the rectal area
• Provides healing and regenerative action
• Ensures antioxidant protection of the mucous membrane

Naftalan oil reduces inflammation, itching and pain.
Sea buckthorn oil accelerates healing of the mucous membrane and microcracks.
Pumpkin seed oil strengthens the vascular wall and reduces edema.
Vitamin E improves tissue trophism and promotes recovery.

Indications for use:

• Internal hemorrhoids, stage I–II
• Inflammation of hemorrhoidal nodes
• Pain, itching and discomfort in the rectum
• Tendency to microcracks of the mucous membrane
• Prevention of exacerbations of chronic hemorrhoids

Method of administration and dosage:

For rectal use.

1 suppository (2.0 g) once daily, preferably at bedtime:

• after natural bowel movement
• after hygienic procedures

After administration, it is recommended to remain in a lying position for 20–30 minutes.

Course of treatment:

• Standard course: 7–14 days
• In chronic course: up to 20 days
• A repeated course is possible after 2–3 weeks upon specialist recommendation

Contraindications:

• Individual sensitivity to the components

Side effects:

Rarely possible:

• Local allergic reactions
• Burning sensation or feeling of warmth in the rectum

If pronounced side effects occur, discontinue use.

Special instructions:

1. For rectal use only
2. Do not exceed the recommended dose
3. May be used as part of complex therapy

Storage conditions:

Store in a dry place protected from light at a temperature not exceeding +25°C.
Keep out of reach of children.

Shelf life:

36 months from the date of manufacture.
Do not use after the expiration date.
